Whilst I enjoy the morning walks to different coffee stores around Calgary, sometimes I just don’t have enough time to be able to go out and find it. More than that, I feel like I’m missing out or I can’t really judge baristas until I can make a decent cup of joe myself. So here it is…
My new coffee machine. It’s a perfect size for two cups of coffee. The next size up was the six cup and although that’d be much more social, realistically it would be far too much coffee for a single person.
Well, those espressos you have will really keep you going. But dont forget your milk…Coffee for that matter has been attributed as a food substance that does away with your body’s calcium. You dont’ want to find out one day you have Osteo etc… So don’t forget to replenish them, one way or another. Which brings me to the next story. Last Christmas, a friend gifted us a Barbecue cooker. Now we have two of them. I didnt know whether to dispose off the one we have and have another one of almost the same type. I dithered to open the box until we came back from Holiday 2 months down the track. But alas, an idea hit me before I opened the box. Why not return it to the store and get something else of similar value. Successfully, we got a Sunbeam Cafe Espresso 3600 in exchange, albeit having to shell a some $40 odd dollars. But of course, better than something accummulating dust. Now we can have steam, boiling water and hot milk in a very short time via the 15 BAR (apparently a comm’l pressure) pump espresoo machine. But someone has to do it. Guess who, Stephen. Oi Oi Oi
