Early season snow

An early Christmas present for us Londoners – snow!

Love the fact these guys are still playing grid iron on the park in the snow!

Possibly the best picture ever. How adorable!

Apparently there was even enough snow to do a little snow-boarding. Cool!

Scupltor Mauro Perucchetti’s Jelly Baby Family at Marble Arch (up until April 2011) must have been cold 😉

There was a lot of snow dumped. Hope this doesn’t mean bad news for my flight to New York next week!

2010 Christmas Season continues

An almost literal all day Christmas party that lasted from 10 this morning to past midnight nearly stretched the limits of my soci-ability. Ha. Just kidding – it was my feet that couldn’t take the heat – I blame the dancing at the Walkie
but I had a fantastic day seeing and spending the day from people from my ex-workplace.

We started the day off with a very entertaining quiz that was organised by James which my team won! Heh heh. I was surprised how many people were in the pub even at 10 in the morning!

We then moved on to lunch at CafĂ© Rouge at Leicester Square. Lunch was pretty good except for the fact that they didn’t get our desserts out in the right order and in the right quantity.

We had a great time with our Secret Santa’s with some people coming up with some creative gifts, especially these toy soldiers which proved to be a big hit with everyone
well, at the “younger” end of the table at least. 😉

The Temple Walkie was next after lunch (which actually finished around 4.30.) It’s the tradition to meet up with the other groups who have had their respective Christmas lunches elsewhere. I was amazed that the Walkie was filled with men men men. It wasn’t until much later that more ladies turned up but the ration was still heavily in favour of the men.
