Hitman

Based on a video game you just knew going into Hitman that the story wasn’t going to be worth the paper it was written on … and it wasn’t. Timothy Olyphant, who played the sarcastic bad guy in Die Hard 4.0, is number 47 – an assassin trained from birth. Something goes wrong when a hit he thinks he has performed perfectly is reported as having failed and he is now the target. It seems suddenly he also has some sort of conscience. We follow him on his quest to work out what is actually going on. About 10 minutes into the movie I gave up trying to follow the inane plot and just sat back to enjoy the kick ass fight scenes. To the end Akhlaq was trying to work out the ins and outs of the movie. Not sure why he bothered.
